Celebrating Our September Strategy Social: Thank You!

We asked people to come to the table—and they did! 💙

On September 28, 2026, the GOAL Collective brought together adult learners, educators, community partners, practitioners, and other stakeholders to help shape what comes next for our work.

Our Strategic Plan Social was designed around a simple idea: the people closest to this work need to be part of determining its future. We connected, listened, shared what’s working, identified opportunities and challenges, and dreamed together about how GOAL can continue connecting learners and creating opportunity across Nashville.

I’m grateful to everyone who gave their time, experiences, ideas, and voices tonight—and to Allison Huber and Ascend Advisors LLC for guiding us through this strategic planning process.

This is only the beginning. There is more listening, learning, and planning ahead, but tonight was a wonderful reminder of what makes a collective a collective: we do this work together.
